VOUGEOT began musical training on the violin at age ten under the tutelage of several masters.

While attending the University of Minnesota Honors Division to obtain a Bachelor's degree in philosophy, Vougeot continued violin studies with the acclaimed University Symphony Orchestra, as conducted by Murry Sidlin.

After her graduation with summa cum laude honors, while singing the National anthem and the French-Canadian anthem on the pitchers' mounds for Major League baseball teams such as the New York Yankees, NY Mets, SD Padres, SF Giants, and the MN Twins, Vougeot spent her time writing, arranging, and recording her album debut, 'Streets.'

Oh say can you see...

Vougeot has recorded with Sony producer Dave Pickell (Bryan Adams, Lara Fabian, Anne Murray),
producer Matt "The Doctor" Fink, longtime former keyboardist of Prince and the Revolution,
and with producer Karl Demer of Atomic K Records (Sounds of Blackness).

In 2003, "Walls of Glass," co-written by Vougeot and prominent Canadian Sony Producer Dave Pickell (Bryan Adams, Lara Fabian, and Anne Murray),  won the Grand Prize in the Great American Song Contest of among over 3,000 songs worldwide.

Billboard Songwriting Contest

In 2003, "Walls of Glass" took
Fourth Place
in this prestigious contest.

In 2005, as the Great American Song Contest continued to gain international popularity, "Let It Burn," (also co-written and produced by Vougeot and Dave Pickell) won the Grand Prize (again!) in this same song contest of among over 4,000 songs worldwide this time. Apparently, Vougeot and Pickell know how to write a winning song or two.

"Let It Burn"

landed a TOP 20 spot
on the international
Global Breakthru Chart (GBC)

The Global Breakthru Chart (GBC) hitting the Fame Games and Meer Music websites is the ONLY chart devoted to just independent music based purely on FAN VOTES and positive reviews.

On "Let It Burn":

"This is a killer pop-rock track and if there was any justice in this world,
it would be earning this artist tons of money even as we speak.
It's got "hit" written all over it.
Surely, many labels out there are looking for something exactly like this.
Very well done indeed."

On May 21, 2006, Vougeot landed SECOND PLACE in The Indie Show competition
in Las Vegas, where she competed amongst some of the best independent
musicians in the world.

In 2008, Vougeot formed a pop/rock band, She Has Issues. Between 2009-2012, She Has Issues enjoyed creating a television show at Town Square Television with Producer Dan Mundt entitled "Backstage," that took television viewers through the band's creative writing and arranging processes during rehearsals.

She Has Issues continues to perform at their favorite Twin Cities venues.

After having walked the red carpet as a guest at the 2001 Grammy Awards
in Los Angeles, Vougeot is determined to walk it again in 2016
...as a performer and as a nominee.
